Ubergehen is a band from Bogota of Thrash Metal, formed in December 2001, working in what is known as the field of thrash metal old school.
In 2003 the band recorded their first demo tape which carries the same name "Ubergehen". Which include four tracks characterized by a good sound raw and heartbreaking.
In 2006 Ubergehen?s band launches its album "Ritos de odio", a demo cd that has been widely accepted by the Bogota metal scene. And thus, in 2007 the band decided to market an EP entitled "Visiones de Horror", EP that opens the doors to appear in a lot of local festivals as well as in other cities including Pereira and Villavicencio are counted.
Ubergehen has participated in important activities, among which are: a split "Festival Rock 10 Engativá " (2007) ; DVD "Festival de Artes de Barrios Unidos" (2010) and Tape "Visiones de Horror", an edition of Bolivia that would be distributed in Bolivia, Paraguay and Argentina.
One of the most recent productions of the band is "Visceral". An album with 10 tracks of the band, which plays a new sound with the great energy that characterizes themselves in the scenery.
Ubergehen is Alex Herrera (bass); Jaime Andres Perez (vocals); Danilo Velandia (drums) and Andrew Cortes (guitar).
Übergehen "to the other side" or "transit". Not the man, who becomes the Superman, must sink into its setting to "become something else." Exit back and renovated in the process of his death and resurrection, as the sun of Heraclitus, but not equal to itself, as regards cyclical, repetitive dialectic of those old Greeks, but already denied and overcome, as the post-Hegelian dialectic.
