Thunderblast, Imagenes de Bandas de Metal & Rock Colombianas[editar]

Thunderblast is established as a band in 2003 at Bogota-Colombia, when Felipe 'Phill' M. Franco and German 'War' Guerra decided to start composing and rehearsing to create a new metal band out of the ashes of their former band Sidereal. Working together as a band since early 1999 Felipe and German Joined forces with Ricardo Sabogal in early 2003.

Once the band had started there process of composing the material for their first CD and having finished the preproduction of the songs at War's home studio 'The Warzone', the band then starts recording their first CD at Artico Record's studio in Bogota by late 2003.

Until mid 2004 Thunderblast takes the time to record, mix and master the Warzone record. After having ready the production of the Warzone CD, Thunderblast decides to print a limited number of copies of the CD acting as and independent band. The second part of 2004 was a busy time for the band playing live in a series of concerts taking place in local bars and Metal festivals in Colombia. Some of them with highlights to mention like playing live in front of 5000 people at the Tortazo Extremo festival and opening Paul Dianno's concert in Bogota-Colombia as part of his first visit to the country.

In May of 2006 Ricardo Sabogal leaves the band, but in June of 2006 Felipe Lozano Hecht joins the band as the new Thunderblast's drummer.

In 2007 Felipe Lozano is no longer in the band. Felipe decided to take an opportunity of working in another country and expand his professional career.

Now we welcome Jaime 'James' Moreno as the new Thunderblast's Drummer. James brings young new blood to the band and after only two rehearsing sessions he managed to have the Warzone live set list up and running.Thunderblast continues knocking record companies doors.
